CROATIA

Here are some pictures from our trip to Croatia in August of 2005. To get there, we spent 18 hours packed in a bus, which is an experience I don't need to repeat. But Croatia itself is a beautiful place with blue sea on one side and majestic mountains on the other. It's very difficult to take a bad picture in Croatia - just hold up the camera at random and click and you'll get at least a decent picture. We stayed in an apartment in the village of Igrane, in an area called the Makarska Riviera. Our big excursions were a boat trip to the island of Korcula, a rafting trip on the Cetina River, an evening in Makarska and a day in Dubrovnik.
